AMCC Second Team All-Conference

Congratulations to freshman Baron tennis player Nick Cundiff, who was awarded Second Team on the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference All-Conference Team.

Cundiff wrapped up his first season with six out of 14 wins in doubles, and four out of 13 wins in his singles matches.

Entering as number one seed in doubles with Andrew Straub for the AMCC Tennis Championship, Cundiff and Straub defeated Frostburg State University, 8-3.  Cundiff and Straub advanced to the second round of the championship but fell to Penn State Behrend, 8-5.

Cundiff continued in his championship success seeded third in singles, advancing to the final round against Penn State Altoona and losing 6-4, 6-1.

The Franciscan University Athletic Department looks forward to future seasons with Nick competing on the Baron Tennis Team.  Congratulations Nick!
