AMCC 2009-10 Faculty Representative Award Winners Named

The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference has named the Faculty Representative Award Winners for the 2009-2010 All-Academic Team. Franciscan University is represented by Chris Cooper and Erin Bliss.

Cooper is a senior on the Baron Tennis team hailing from Front Royal, Virginia.  Typically a first-seeded player on Franciscan University's new men's tennis team, Cooper completed his season with seven wins in doubles and five wins in his singles matches.

Bliss is a senior on the Lady Baron Cross Country team and also hails from Virginia, growing up in Woodbridge.  She was a part of the Lady Barons win at the AMCC Cross Country Championship for the second time, and individually placing second in the competition.  Bliss also placed second within the Lady Baron runners and seventh overall in the All-Ohio Championship, and first within the team and ninth overall in the Intra-Regional Rumble.

We wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors as they move on to a new chapter of their life post-graduation. Congratulations Chris and Erin!
