AMCC Player of the Week

Matt Leidel was honored as the AMCC Player of the Week. He has become a fan favorite here at Franciscan University and team leader with 103 total points and 51 total rebounds.

Leidel turned in back-to-back standout efforts in a 1-1 week for the Barons, averaging 18.5 ppg, 9.5 rpg and 3.0 apg.  At home against Penn St. Altoona Leidel contributed 14 points, 7 boards and 3 assists, while on the road vs. D'Youville he racked up 22 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.  Leidel is currently ranked #2 in the AMCC in rebounding (8.5 rpg) and #5 in scoring (17.2 ppg).
