Jones & Krajewski Continue to Top AMCC
STEUBENVILLE, Ohio—Bill Jones was honored as Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference player of the week for the third time this season along with his Lady Barons teammate Nicole Krajewski, honored for the second time this season.
Jones, a junior from Greenbay, Wis., finished fifth overall out of 310 runners from all divisions at Friday’s All-Ohio Championship with an 8K time of 25:15.75. He finished first out of the Division III athletes.
Krajewski, a sophomore from Battle Creek, Mich., placed 38th out of 317 runners in the 5,000 meter race at the All-Ohio Championship. Only three Div. III runners ran faster than her 18:51.85 time.
Jones, Krajewski and their teammates travel to Oberlin, Ohio, for the Intra-Regional Rumble on Saturday, Oct. 15.
