History In The Making: Lady Baron Diver Honored By AMCC
STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — The inaugural women’s swimming and diving team at Franciscan University continued to make history this week. Junior Danielle Tremblay was honored by the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference as diver of the week for her performance at last Wednesday’s Washington and Jefferson College dual meet.

First-Ever Lady Baron Swimmer Honored By The AMCC
STEUBENVILLE, Ohio—For the first time ever, a member of the Lady Baron swimming and diving team was honored as the Alleghany Mountain Collegiate Conference swimmer of the week. The accolade was given to junior Grace Anne Beatovich for her contribution to the team’s success at Saturday’s short course dual meet against Frostburg State and University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio – Three Lady Baron tennis players were named to Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference first and second all-conference teams for their outstanding performances during the team’s second season of play. The Lady Barons finished as AMCC runners-up after the conference championship and a 7-1 record.

Freshman Alanna Murray earned AMCC player of the week honors for her contribution to the success.

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio—The National Small College Rugby Organization published its pre-season rankings this week, placing Franciscan University’s rugby team in the tenth spot out of 25 teams across the United States. The ranking moves the Barons up three spots from last season.
