Peter Rosaschi enters his fifth year at the helm of the Franciscan men's lacrosse team in 2017.
In his first four seasons, Rosaschi has led the Barons to a 7-47 record, including a school record three wins in 2016.
During the 2016 season, the Barons saw the program reach new heights including a team-record 112 goals and 57 assists during the season. Jonas McCaig set the program record for points in a season with 51 and goals with 40.
In 2015, freshman Mark Hanlon finished the year 10th in DIII in faceoff winning percentage with an outstanding 67% winning percentage (138-206).
Rosaschi brings with him 32 years of lacrosse experience. As a player in college, he was selected as captain in his senior year at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. For the past 11 years, Rosaschi has served as a coach for Pawling Lacrosse in New York, a town program consisting of travel teams from kindergarten to high school level. For the past two years, he has also served as the president of Pawling Lacrosse.
Rosaschi graduated with a BS from the USMMA at Kings Point and an MBA in finance from Long Island University. Rosaschi, his wife, Beth, and their six children reside in Steubenville.
