Baron Baseball Blast Fundraising Dinner

STEUBENVILLE, OH -The Franciscan University Baron Baseball team will host its third annual benefit dinner and auction on Saturday, November 21, at Malara Hall at Holy Family Catholic Church in Steubenville.
The event's proceeds will go to fund the team's spring training trip to Cocoa Beach, Florida. The Baron baseball team, coached by Dr. Bob Marrow, has 27 players from 16 states, including six from the local area. The Baron baseball team would like to thank the donors and sponsors who have made the last two spring training trips successful.
Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. A dinner of rigatoni and meatballs, chicken fillet, salad and homemade desserts made by volunteers, will begin at 6:30 p.m., and will be served by members of Stella Mariae Household. The evening's program will include a short video of the baseball team, a live auction, Chinese auction, and the drawing of the 50/50 raffle. The evening will also include a special guest speaker and remarks from professional baseball coaches and players.
Tickets are $30 per person or $50 for two people and can be purchased at the door or in advance at St. Joseph Chiropractic on University Boulevard or by calling 740-283-3365 or 740-284-5172.
The baseball team is also looking for donors to sponsor a table of players at the dinner and donations for the raffle and auction items. Contributions can be made to Franciscan University Baseball Team.
