Franciscan Promotes Three Assistants to Head Coach
STEUBENVILLE, OH - There will be some familiar faces in unfamiliar places for Baron athletics during the 2012-2013 season. Three FUS teams will see former assistant coaches take over head coaching duties for their teams. Suzy Delaney will take over the women's basketball team, Ward Rogers will take over the men's soccer team, and Rebecca Recznik will take over the swimming and diving team.

Chatham Spoils Senior Night for Gallagher and Lady Barons
STEUBENVILLE, Ohio – The Lady Barons of Franciscan University hosted the Chatham University Lady Cougars in a doubleheader on Thursday afternoon. It was Senior Night, honoring Franciscan’s lone senior Amelia Gallagher, but the celebration was spoiled by two Chatham victories. The Lady Cougars won game one, 8-2, and game two, 10-0.
Barons Recognized For Their Brains
STEUBENVILLE, Ohio—During the fall 2011 season, Franciscan University student-athletes brought much recognition to Steubenville; the women’s cross country team topped the Alleghany Mountain Collegiate Conference, claiming the AMCC Championship for a fourth time, and both the women’s tennis and men’s cross country teams were AMCC runners-up. Free Basketball Clinics Continue To Be A Success
