Mark is entering his third year as Head Coach of Baron Rugby. In
its first semester under his coaching they had an impressive 9-2
season with victories over University of Pittsburgh and Ohio
University.
After graduating from Franciscan University in 2004 with a
Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management, Hanrahan worked
for the University in the Admissions office for three years. In
2007, he was hired as the Student Success Coordinator for FUS. He
is currently working on earning his MBA.
Hanrahan played for the Franciscan University Rugby team from
2003-2004. Before transferring to Franciscan his junior year he
played two years of Division II football at Bentley College in
Massachusetts where he started as an offensive lineman both
seasons. Hanrahan was also the co-founder of a strength and
conditioning camp for high school athletes in Massachusetts. While
in high school, Hanrahan was part of the 1999 Massachusetts State
Championship football team.
Mark, his wife Krista, and their children Katie and Paul reside
in Steubenville, Ohio.
