Barons Suffer Loss to Medaille

BUFFALO, NY - The Barons of Franciscan University of Steuebenville took on Medaille College on Saturday evening, losing, 4-1.  With the loss, the Barons fell to 2-4 (0-1) on the season.

Steven Duran led the Barons on the night, registering 6 shots (2 on goal), and the Barons' sole goal of the game.  Joseph Krilich also had a solid game with 2 shots (1 on goal), and an assist.  Thomas Allen had 2 shots, and goalkeeper Kevin McCartney had 4 saves and 4 goals allowed.

Josh Meier led Medaille with 6 shots and a goal.  Alexander Rouse had 5 shots (3 on goal) and 1 goal, while Gary Boughton and Stuart Ziegler also scored.

The Barons look to get their first conference win when they host Hilbert College this Saturday at 3 p.m.
