Barons Fall to Penn State Behrend

BEHREND, PA - The Barons soccer team of Franciscan University of
Steubenville traveled to Penn State-Behrend on Saturday afternoon,
losing 5-1. With the loss, the Lady Barons fell to 7-6 (5-3) on the
season.
Joseph Krilich led the Barons on the day with 2 shots. Christian Bobak had a shot on goal, while Johnny Herrmann scored and Joseph Walsh had the assist.
Corey Hamilton led Penn State-Behrend with 3 shots (2 on goal), 2 goals, and an assist, while teammate Ryan Banks had 3 shots (2 on goal) and a goal. "We didn't play our game tonight," Barons assistant coach Tommy Lahey remarked in a post-game interview. "We kept pace with them in the first half, and were only down 1-0 at halftime, but we let the game get away from us in the second."
The Barons' next contest is at home against Pitt-Greensburg this Wednesday at 3 p.m.
