Tommy Allen Named to Third Team All-Conference 11/9/11 | STEUBENVILLE, Ohio – The fall was a time of growing pains for Baron soccer, as the young team developed its foundation for the coming seasons. Soccer Splits Senior Day; Bowers Gets a Goal 10/25/11 | Men's Soccer STEUBENVILLE, Ohio—It was Senior Night for the Franciscan University soccer program as the men's and women's teams hosted the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg. Despite being up 2-1 at the beginning of the second half, the men relinquished their lead in the second half to lose 4-2. The women, however, were able to post a shut-out victory over the Lady Bobcats, 5-0. (More)

Two Close Games for Soccer Versus D’Youville 10/22/11 | Men's Soccer BUFFALO, N.Y.—The Franciscan University soccer teams traveled to Buffalo on Saturday for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference doubleheader with the D'Youville Spartans. Strong Day for Soccer Despite Missing Players 10/19/11 | Men's Soccer Cresson, Pa.—Franciscan University’s soccer teams traveled to take on the Mount Aloysius Mounties for doubleheader conference play Wednesday afternoon. Although they were missing a few players, the Lady Barons were able to defeat the Mounties 3-0, while the Mounties defeated the Barons 3-2. (More)

October 15, 2011 Field Changes and a Defeat for the Barons St. Clairsville, Ohio—Too much rain on their home fields sent Franciscan University’s soccer teams to St. Clairsville to challenge University of Pittsburgh at Bradford for doubleheader conference play Saturday afternoon. The Lady Barons won 3-0 while the Barons fell to the Red Hawks with a loss of 2-1. Unfortunately for the Lady Barons, they could not make it two straight wins as they were downed by the visiting Lady Yellow Jackets, 3-1.
