Serving as assistant tennis coaches under head coach Curtis Allen this past year, Jenna Lynch and Jeremy Ellis step up to take over the tennis program as Allen heads back to his home state of California. STEUBENVILLE—It’s that time of year again! Time to sign your son or daughter up for the 2011 summer camps at Franciscan University of Steubenville. The FUS Baron Sports Camps offer local area high school sports teams and junior high athletes the opportunity to participate in basketball, tennis, soccer, and women’s volleyball camps. Curtis Allen is AMCC Men’s Tennis Coach of the Year
PITTSBURGH—In only its second year of NCAA Div. III play, the Baron tennis team proved to be one of the most competitive in its conference. With an overall season record of 9-1 and walking into the conference championship with only one conference loss, the Barons proved to be a threat to three-time championship defenders Penn State Behrend.

Baron Tennis Defeats Reigning Champ to Win AMCC Crown
WEXFORD, Pa.—The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference men’s tennis championship needed a tiebreaker to decide the 2011 champion. Tied at the top with 18 points apiece was three-time defending champion Penn State Behrend and Franciscan University of Steubenville in just its second year of competition. The tiebreaker determined Franciscan the winner in its first ever AMCC men’s tennis championship.

Baron Tennis Team Goes 9-1 On The Season
STEUBENVILLE—It was a spectacular 9-0 victory for Franciscan University's men’s tennis team Wednesday afternoon as the Barons finished off the regular season with a 9-1 overall record and 5-1 in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference.
