Men's Track and Field Fall Short in Last Meet

Barons Fall Short at Allegehany College

The Franciscan University of Steubenvilles men's track team falls short in last meet of the year. The Barons were short handed as they competed at the Gator Invite hosted by Allegehany College.

The Barons top competitor for the day was freshman Bill Jones who placeed fourth in the 5000 meter run with a final time of 15:01.11. Jones was only 17 seconds behind the first place finisher.

Freshman Patrick Meier was able to place ninth in the 400 meter dash. The other FUS Baron competitors where unable to finish strong. The Barons were unable to bring all competitors due to the late season meet.

The Barons would like to thank everyone for a great season and look forward to growing the team in the future.
