With the losses, the Lady Barons fell to 0-14 on the season, and their Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference record now stands at 0-6. The Lady Barons struggled in the first game, only registering two hits, one by Katie Quitney, and the other by Krista Bertke. Angelle Cupit made contact with the ball multiple times, but her efforts resulted in five pop flies. Center fielder O’Neal and short stop Isenberg were the offensive standouts for Mount Aloysius in the first game, each having 1 hit, 1 RBI, and 2 runs. The Lady Barons gave a stronger offensive performance in the second game of the day, a 7-1 loss. In the second game, we came back and regrouped and refocused, and were really in the game, but they just batted really well and put the game out of reach.” The next contest for the Lady Barons will be Sunday at 1 p.m. against University of Pitt-Bradford.
