Lady Barons Fall to Frostburg State

STEUBENVILLE - The Franciscan University of Steubenville Lady Barons lost 62-48 on the road Wednesday night to the Frostburg State Bobcats. The Lady Barons Head Coach Kelly Herrmann was absent for the game due to illness, but the Lady Barons still made a good showing in the contest.
Cara Mitchell led the Lady Barons with 21 points on 4 for 9 shooting. Marian Weber had 8 points while shooting 3 for 10, and Angelle Cupit and Kristin Belleque contributed 6 points each. Marian Weber led the Lady Barons with 11 rebounds, and Nicole Naugle had 7. Jamie Morningstar had 22 points for Frostburg State, leading all scorers, while teammate Caryn Wright added 10.
The Lady Barons next contest is Saturday 4 p.m. at La Roche College.
