Lady Barons Track and Field Make Strong Showing at Carnegie

The Lady Barons of Franciscan University of Steubenville competed in individual events at the Carnegie Mellon University Invite. There were many FUS competitors who took first and second place in their respective events.

Junior Erin Bliss came in first in the 1500 meter run. Coming in second in their respective events were sophomore Theresa Evans in the 3000 meter, junior Chantel Fouchi in the high jump, and sophomore Julie Rohrmann in the discus and javelin throw.

Other notable finishes are freshman Jordan Henneberry coming in third in the shot put, javelin, and forth in discus.

The Lady Barons have set the bar for future track and field athletes and continue to grow stronger with each meet.
