Kelly Herrmann joined the FUS coaching staff as head volleyball coach for the Lady Barons in 2003. 

Herrmann graduated from Franciscan University in 1987, and was voted female athlete of the year during all four of her collegiate years.  Since then, she has served Franciscan University in a variety of capacities: as the director of recreation, intramural coordinator, and coached the women’s basketball team for nine years.  She currently continues as senior woman administrator (SWA) for the athletic department.  She also volunteers as the advisor for the on-campus student organization Carae Domini, and wrote the book "Coach Them Well" with Dale Brown and David Cutcliffe, published by St. Mary’s Press. 

Most importantly, Kelly Herrmann is a wife and mother of six children.  Retiring from her head coach position for Lady Baron Basketball in the spring of 2010, Herrmann is excited to give more attention and focus to the success of the FUS volleyball program.

Lisa Pergi joined the Franciscan University women’s volleyball coaching staff in the fall of 2010 as an assistant coach. 

Originally from Seattle, Washington, Lisa graduated from Franciscan in 1997.  She played four years of club volleyball at Franciscan and was nominated as captain for her last two years. After graduating, Lisa worked for Franciscan University as the Assistant Recreation Director from 1999-2003, becoming a certified personal trainer and coordinating club and intramural athletics.  After moving to Florida in 2003, she initiated and coached the first women’s club volleyball team for Ave Maria University. 

Lisa is married to Brenan Pergi (Executive Director of Human Resources) and has two children Rachel and Tommy. She is excited to be back at Franciscan University working with the athletics team.
