AMCC Honors Two in Women's XC
The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference has named two special awards to the Franciscan University Women's Cross Country Team. Freshman Katherine Manion has been given the title of Newcomer of the Year for 2009 while head coach Dr. Dan Kuebler has earned Coach of the Year for a second consecutive time.
Manion was given this honor after she came in 6th of 81 runners at the AMCC Championship.
Dr. Dan Kuebler has led the women's cross country team to a second AMCC Title. This also marks the second year he has led the Franciscan University men's cross country team to a runners-up title.
